Platinum Personnel, a privately owned company, was established in 1999 as a full-service personnel agency. Our team brings a combined 35 years’ experience within Personnel and Human Resources and we are skilled at providing quality candidates to businesses in all occupations and industries.

David Miller - General Manager
David became the owner of Platinum Personnel in September 2016. He has varied background bringing 40+ years of work, industry, education and life experience to the table. David started in the oil and gas industry in the 70’s working his way up to a consultant, contracting for companies such as ESSO, Conoco-Philips, and Encana. He has a degree in Education from the University of Alberta, with a major in Physics/Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. His experience with instructing/teaching took him into secondary and adult education settings. David is an excellent manager, team leader, and communicator with strong interpersonal skills. He delivered safety presentations at venues such as Enform’s Petroleum Safety Conference in Banff. David has been co-ordinating, supervising and training workers in many, industry and non-industry environments. Linkedin
Tracy Gooch – Operations and Finance Manager
Tracy joined the Platinum Personnel team as Accounting Manager in November 2016. Born and raised in Kelowna and currently residing in West Kelowna, she has experience in retail, real estate appraisal and income tax preparation. She has over 30 years of bookkeeping experience, having worked with a variety of businesses and industries. Tracy is readily available to answer accounting and payroll questions for both our recruitment coordinators and staff.
Heather Simmonds – Sr. Recruitment Specialist
Heather joined the Platinum team as a Recruitment Coordinator in 2006, having just returned to her hometown of Kelowna after living in England & Australia for 13 years. While living overseas she obtained extensive experience working in international corporate environments in a variety of industries. Heather holds an Office Administration Certificate, a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage, and has taken courses towards obtaining her Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) Designation. With respect to recruiting, Heather is crazy about positive experiences and she is dedicated to finding the right person for each position, whether it be permanent, contract or temporary, across a wide range of skill categories while demonstrating integrity, enthusiasm, outstanding service and professionalism. Kim Linderman – Sr. Recruitment Specialist
Kim has been a Recruitment Coordinator with Platinum Personnel since 2007. She understands the importance of the right fit between employer and employee. She pays attention to details in order to “fine tune” matches. Kim started her career with a degree in Education which she used in both teacher and school administrator roles. Extensive experience and training in assessing needs, evaluating skills and working with people help Kim make quality connections. Her energy and passion for helping others add to the professional approach at Platinum Personnel. She enjoys keeping abreast of current needs and trends to best help the community in which she works and lives. Jez Cook - Sr. Recruitment Specialist
Jez has recently joined Platinum Personnel after moving to West Kelowna from England. After graduating from the university of Portsmouth with a BA Hons in Computer Animation, he spent the next 10 years working in the Licensing Industry as a Senior Manager of a Large Entertainment Venue. Looking to harness his strong interpersonal skills, he made the transition to the Recruitment Industry 5 and half years ago, obtaining his Certificate in Recruitment Practice (CRP) and earning promotion to Senior Technical Recruiter(specialising in Technical and Engineering recruitment.) Jez has worked on many niche positions for the Aerospace, Biopharmaceutical and Automotive Industries on Permanent, Contract and Temporary positions. Forging strong relationships with both clients and candidates, Jez always goes the extra mile to get the right candidate. In his spare time, Jez enjoys exploring the trails and ‘Great Outdoors’ with his wife, two sons and dog.
Jaime Baumgartner – Administrative Assistant
Jaime joined the Platinum Personnel team in May 2017. Graduated from Sprottshaw Community College with an administrative assistant certification in February 2017. She takes pride in helping support our candidates, and Clients, as well as our staff with the best Customer service here at the front desk. She started working at her family-owned business working as a receptionist and left with strong values to maintain quality performance in every task she takes on. She has 11 years of experience in Reception, Administration and Customer service. As the newest member of the team and to the Okanagan she hopes to help make a difference in our community.
Shraddha Nagwekar – Recruitment Assistant
Shraddha joined our team as a Recruitment Assistant in October 2018. She is a dedicated talent acquisition and human resources professional and has worked in the civil engineering , healthcare, information technology and telecommunications domains. She specializes in full life-cycle recruiting, interviewing and employee onboarding. She earned her Master’s degree majoring in Management Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2007, but found her calling in Human Resources. Shraddha is a strong advocate of employee engagement and believes that a happy employee is a productive employee. Her positive outlook and professional work ethic is geared towards providing a recruiting process that is truly enjoyable for her applicants as well as clients. Shraddha loves to travel, try new cuisines and learn about different ethnic cultures and traditions.
