The company specializes in projects in electric power, telephone/CATV/fibre optic communication networks and natural gas infrastructure.
The role: –
Working out of the Kelowna office, you would be drafting electrical and civil design drawings including overhead and underground electrical distribution infrastructure.
You will use your knowledge and understanding of electrical and civil standards to ensure that your work is of the highest accuracy and quality.
As part of the design team, you will help ensure a proper filing system is maintained for both electronic and paper field drawings, so they are readily available when needed.
Skills & Experience: –
It goes without saying that as an experienced Draftsperson, you have extensive experience with design programs including AutoCAD, Map3D or Civil 3E and ideally Microstation.
Your Diploma or Certificate in Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting will be put to good use through this role.
The package: –
The salary ranges from $41,500 to $62,500 per year (depending on experience) with a comprehensive benefits package that includes Health & Dental, pension, holiday, bonuses and a flexible work schedule where possible.
