Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to assist on a short term temporary basis. Must be well versed in general office functions as well as a good working knowledge of the full bookkeeping cycle.
Duties will include:
-Managing, tracking and reconciling inventory
– Review of Quickbooks entries including Accounts Payable and Receivable, Collections, Reconciliations, Journal entries
-Payroll every two weeks of 2-3 staff
-GST, T4s etc.
-Knowledge of Retail software and accounting practices
-Able to handle day to day decisions without direct supervision
-Able to learn products to provide additional information to interested customers.
-Strong understanding and hands on experience with Quickbooks, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
-Ability to Multi-task and prioritize work load.
This position will start temporary to assess fit with an opportunity to take on the role on a smaller scale as needed. Seeking a candidate that is available Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next 6 weeks and then available every two weeks there after.
