On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a full-time, permanent Accounting Assistant to work at their Corporate Head Office in Kelowna. The Accounting Assistant will work under and support the Finance Manager and be exposed to multiple areas within their finance department. Responsibilities will include assisting in many areas of the full accounting cycle such as: month end entries, invoicing, reconciling sub ledgers to the general ledger, entering of financial transactions into the system and other general accounting duties as required.


The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 1 – 2 years of related work experience who is looking to learn more and grow. He/She will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, must be organized with strong attention to detail and able to work well under pressure and handle high-volume transaction environment.


Office hours are full-time, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with full benefits package and paid parking. Salary will depend upon experience.
