Platinum Personnel recruits for BC based companies, national organizations and various government agencies. The positions for which we recruit encompass all occupations and industries at all levels.
Platinum Personnel’s goal is to provide the best possible employment match for both the candidate and the client. Each time we receive a recruitment request, we conduct an internal search of our resume database and, when possible, we advertise the position so that we may attract additional qualified candidates. Suitable candidates are then contacted, interviewed, tested (if appropriate), and reference checked to create a short-list for each position.
Q: Why do companies choose to work with Platinum Personnel rather than recruiting their own employees?
Busy companies work with Platinum Personnel to save time and money. We search through hundreds of resumes to find candidates that match the job requirements. We interview to find out what your interests and strengths are, your past performance and experience, and your goals for the future. This process takes time. By hiring Platinum Personnel our clients are able to focus their time and energy on meeting only interested pre-screened qualified candidates.

Q: I don’t see a job that is suitable for me on Platinum Personnel’s Job Postings. What should I do?
Apply Now! Our list of job postings is constantly changing. Having your resume in our database ensures that you will be considered for jobs as they arise. Also, due to time constraints, some postings are never advertised and we must have your resume on file in order for you to be considered.
Upon receipt of your resume, your information is entered into our database. If a job opportunity arises that matches your interests and qualifications, we will contact you to arrange a time for an interview and testing (if appropriate). In the meantime, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your application.
One of our biggest concerns is confidentiality for both our candidates and our clients. Your personal information will be kept confidential until such time as permission is received from you to release it to our client. Regarding past and present employers, we only contact those organizations that you have listed as reference contacts.
References are extremely important as most companies require reference checks before interviewing a candidate. We recommend listing your references on a separate page and including the extra page with your resume.
There is absolutely no cost to you. Our services are free to all candidates who are working with Platinum Personnel to find employment.
Temporary to permanent or ‘the working interview’ is an effective way to ensure both the candidate and the client meet one another’s expectations. In a “Temp to Perm” scenario, you start off as an employee of Platinum Personnel. When both you and the client decide that there is a good match, then you become an employee of the company for which you have been temping.
We require that a timesheet be submitted every Friday afternoon signed by your supervisor. You are paid biweekly based on the hours reported on the timesheets. See our “Platinum Payroll Calendar” for more details. For your convenience, Platinum Personnel deposits your pay directly to your bank account.
